At A10 Associates, it is important to us that we recognize our team members for their talent and dedication. This month, we highlight Nicole Herendeen, Vice President of Government Relations and Strategic Communications. Though she has been with A10 Associates for less than a year, Nicole’s expertise and precision have already impacted the firm.
Nicole’s job entails many responsibilities covering a broad range of tasks. And while her job is both expansive and diverse, she handles her day-to-day tasks with confidence and attention to detail. As one of the leaders of our strategic communications team, Nicole builds thoughtful and impactful public affairs campaigns, including creating press releases, policy papers, newsletters, and social media content. She is passionate about helping clients elevate their profile and brand awareness and enhancing their media engagement.
Nicole is also part of our government affairs team. With more than seven years of policy and advocacy experience, Nicole provides legislative affairs consulting and supports the multi-faceted work of A10’s clients in the transportation, infrastructure, and technology industries. In her role, Nicole dives deep into challenging policy issues, tracking and analyzing federal legislative matters and grant opportunities, and keeping clients apprised of legislative and regulatory developments across the local, state, and federal levels.
Nicole’s Experience
Before joining A10 Associates, Nicole served as Government Affairs and Legislative Manager in the Washington, DC, office of a national law firm. She served six years as Assistant Vice President at a Boston-based public affairs and political consulting firm. She also previously interned in the Office of Congresswoman Katherine Clark (MA-05) and for Representative Robert E. Craven of the Rhode Island House of Representatives. Nicole is a proud graduate of Providence College, where she received a degree in Political Science and English.
Among her achievements working with us thus far has been helping a cutting-edge technology company broadcast its growth and product offerings to a broader audience to increase media attention and customer and investor interest.
Inspiration and Motivation
Nicole stays inspired and motivated by feeding off the excitement of the people around her. “Being based in Washington, DC, I am constantly inspired by the energy and enthusiasm people bring to policy discussions on Capitol Hill.”
Nicole has embraced the challenge of relocating from Massachusetts to Washington, DC and taking her policy and advocacy skills from state and local government to the federal and multi-state levels.
We look forward to all that is to come. Join us in celebrating Nicole’s achievements and thanking her for contributing to our team.
