Here at A10 Associates, we believe in celebrating the incredible and limitless talent within our brilliant team of women. Today, we are excited and honored to shine a well-deserved spotlight on Lindsay Pletch, our Executive Vice President of Internal Strategic Communications and Operations. She is based in Savannah, Georgia, but periodically joins the rest of our team in the Boston and D.C. offices. Out of everyone in our firm, Lindsay has been with us for over 3 years, making her our most senior employee. We are deeply grateful for her enthusiasm and accountability to our firm. A10 Associates indeed would not be the same without her.
Lindsay’s Experience
Lindsay heads our internal strategic communications division and manages the daily operations at A10. She is dedicated to meeting client needs while executing their communications strategies. She supports the CEO with essential administrative tasks, delegating duties to the administrative coordinator for tracking client to-do lists, compiling monthly reports and invoices, writing and editing team memos, planning events, and coordinating meetings. Additionally, she analyzes team structures and account coverage to improve efficiency.
Lindsay also assists the CEO with special projects as needed and drives enhancements in A10’s business systems. She is key in developing and implementing the firm’s strategic communications. Furthermore, she supervises the internal communications team and the Administrative Coordinator, who manages team registrations and logistics, oversees the travel calendar, and handles the creation and storage of internal presentations.
Lindsay graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, focusing on the hospitality industry. She has experience as a sales manager in Albany, New York, a Catering Manager in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and an Executive Meeting Manager for a large international hotel corporation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Lindsay’s experience and background in Business Administration perfectly equip her for the critical role she plays at A10.
Inspiration and Motivation
Lindsay recounts how her favorite part of working with A10 is her role in the growth of other companies. “At A10 Associates, we work with C-level executives across many industries. The companies we work with have revolutionary technologies and products that have a positive impact on the country. I am happy to be able to be a small part of their growth and success!”
When asked to share some words of wisdom, Lindsay speaks on the importance of working towards a goal. “View every project one task at a time and get started! It is always important to begin with the end in mind and work towards your end goal. However, as Norman Vincent Peale said, ‘…any action is better than no action at all.'”
Lindsay has worked to overcome her most significant challenges with confidence. “In March 2020, my fiancé and I lost our jobs in the hospitality industry due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the same month, we found out we were having our first baby. This adversity led to a change in career path at the age of 30. However, due to this, I have grown tremendously, taken on tasks I never thought I could, and have been able to thrive in forging government relationships and providing strategic direction to A10 while becoming known as a leader in the firm.”
When asked how she stays motivated in such a demanding and important role, Lindsay says, “I take time to get outside, be active, and practice yoga. These practices help me recenter my mind and focus. Balancing work and having two kids under four can keep me busy, but finding time to reflect each day keeps me motivated.”
We are proud to have leaders like Lindsay, who embodies A10’s values and drives us forward. We cannot express our gratitude to her enough. Her journey with us has been defined by her commitment to A10 and focus on our projects and team. Join us in celebrating her achievements and thanking her for her invaluable contribution to our team.
