Team Spotlight: Who is Christine Callahan

Here at A10 Associates, we believe in celebrating the incredible and limitless talent within our brilliant team of women. Today, we are excited and honored to shine a well-deserved spotlight on Christine Callahan, our Vice President of Government Affairs.

She is a confident leader of our team, and we deeply admire her work ethic and optimism. Not only is she the epitome of a leader, but she also inspires other women in our firm and outside of it.

Christine’s Experience

As Vice President of Government Affairs, Christine collaborates on donation strategies and manages relationships with political giving organizations, events, and contributions as the POC for this effort. She tracks legislation, government funding, and public policy matters on the state and federal levels. Moreover, she manages client government relations and develops relationships with local, state, and federal governments. She negotiates incentives for economic development on behalf of clients and collaborates with associates and co-ops on research and memos for clients. Throughout the year, she staffs clients at political events and leads loan applications for the Department of Energy.

Christine manages client accounts by providing customer service, tracking legislation, assisting with grant applications, and providing government affairs strategy on the local, state, and federal levels. She strives to provide our clients with the best service every day to help our clients succeed, and she does a fantastic job fulfilling these responsibilities.

Christine graduated from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Concentration in American Government and Politics. She then earned a Masters of Public Administration degree from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

During her college years, she interned with the United States Department of the Interior in the Immediate Office of the Secretary, and following her graduation, she worked full-time at the Office of The Massachusetts State Treasurer and Receiver General in Boston.

Inspiration and Motivation

When asked about the highlights of working at A10, Christine spoke about the countless opportunities for travel and networking that she has been given: “Every day, I am learning something new! I get to travel and meet new people and our clients along the way. I love to be behind the scenes of our clients’ success.” She spends her time between our Boston and D.C. offices and all around the nation with her clients as well.

Christine’s impressive achievements during her time at A10 are a source of pride for us every day. She organized incentives for a client totaling over $1 million dollars, secured meetings for a client they had trouble securing, and thrived in our fast-paced environment. She continues to learn and grow on the go, making her an inspiring part of our team.

When asked about how she stays motivated in such a demanding, dynamic, and influential role, Christine reflects by mentioning the following: “ I love to travel, spend time with family and friends, try new recipes and cook, and go to the beach.”

Her ability to budget her time and create an efficient work-life balance is amazing, and we are so lucky to have such an adventurous and spontaneous person on our team. Her positivity translates into her work and shines on all of us here at A10.

Christine’s Words of Advice

Her words of wisdom and guiding principles are: “Always have a positive attitude, show up early, and have a smile on your face.”

She commits to them day in and day out in our offices, and her positivity is infectious. She sets a tone of optimism and collaboration.
